Captain Cooks landing site

After some pretty stormy weather we took a trip to Botany Bay today and on to the site where Captain Cook landed.
Amazing views of high rolling waves on the Pacific Ocean, incredibly windy still from the tail of the cyclone, struggling to stay upright long enough to take photos. Although this doesn't display the extent of the waves, it does make you wonder why on earth he chose to land here.........
