death to my window boxes

Have been told I cant have my window boxes. They are an accident waiting to happen and they are not all neat and tidy. I have always made sure they are secure, renewing their wire attachments etc each year. I have nurtured outdoor plants that will come back in spring like children.

Now they wont. Dont know what to do with them.

So this is the first dead window, looking at all the other dead windows looking back.
Oh you cant really see them in this photo.
I am just really upset.
Life sometimes just seems to get worse when the things you try to do to help survival are not allowed.
