Boys Will Be Boys

This used to be the largest tree in our fair city, but...as James Michener wrote..."Only the rocks live forever." A few years backs, it got old and died. Then, most of the trunk toppled over.

I warned Merrick and daddy Doug about climbing up the tree, but they didn't listen. "Can't you two read the sign? It says DANGER."

Believe the story if you want, but I might have "helped" them get up the old giant.
