A weekend of fun chores

We had a lot to do today...well all weekend really.

After a crumpets fest n cup of tea in bed, we raced up to the cottage. We had two viewings that afternoon and needed to empty the out of date beer bottles left by previous tenant. A quick trip to rubbish dump then off to Bon-fire to look at fireplaces.

I turned into a true girl and cried in the showroom. I am SO excited to have our fireplaces WITH fires. It's SO cold at home all day and the gas is just extortionate. I am sure lots of people are struggling with the price of gas. Being constantly cold really does bring you down and lower your immunity. I am so so so so excited to get heating. The showroom was 4,000 square feet and had over 40 live fireplaces up try. Awesome bit of kit. The sales man really knows his stuff and is coming out on Monday for a site visit. I feel far more confident in this company than the man who came last week.

I think I have noticed the cold so much as I have not been able to move around - normally I am on the go all day - mainly because its too cold to sit still - people say I should sit down and rest more because of my fibro - I would love to but bring cold is one if the worst things to kick it off. This is going to be the BEST house present to ourselves EVER.
