First, I would like to thank you all for your thoughts, stars and hearts on my Stoat yesterday, they sent it to page two of the popular pages.   I will be thanking you all personally so please bear with me.
My journal today is a collage of things I saw when I was sitting by the river yesterday, I've never attempted a collage like this before and I was so pleased with my effort I just had to post it for my reference, although I know you are supposed to post on the day. so forgive me.
The images are from top right clockwise the Swan, Garlic Mustard (or Hedge Garlic or Jack-by-the-hedge), a Damselfly, Star of Bethleham and a neighbours cat that keeps me company although at a distance.
