Granddaughter’s birthday

My Georgie is 13 tomorrow and this will be the first time I won’t be able to spend time with her. With the short resources I have, I’ve managed to make a cake of sorts, and hubby has created a card. She will be calling round tomorrow and parking at the end of the drive to collect her cake and card. I can’t bear her to think of her birthday in a negative way so hope this will be a sort of compensation
