Life from city to village

Working from home

Today I worked from home. I started about 7:30am. Then there was an urgent piece of work came in, which I was sorting in between online meetings. At 11am I went outside for the minute's silence. None of my neighbours joined me unfortunately.

The piece of work completed and info for a further paper chased, and I finished for the day. My veggie daughter wanted spaghetti Bolognese, so I dug out the frozen Quorn mince, added onion, garlic, kidney beans, sweetcorn and a tin of chopped tomatoes. Then plenty of oregano and fresh basil. I am trying to tell her how easy it is to make.

A colleague suggested I need to think about finding time to take a long weekend. Easier said than done at the moment.
