Truncated

Not only are we locked in but we are now rained in too. So instead I did 45 minutes on the rowing machine. Made bearable by a podcast. 

A walk round the block and past this these pieces of tree trunk. They have been there a while but seem to have become interesting now that they are wet and glistening.

The City of London look after these outliers of Epping forest very well. So much that they have whipped out a shrub that I planted on the patch outside my house. Perhaps they were right in deciding that it wasn't an appropriate species.
