Day 38 : bluebells

When we moved here, the front garden had a circle of (mostly dead) lawn due to shade from the house, the lilac tree and the overgrown hedge.
The hedge is now trimmed, the lilac pruned (and just about to burst into flower), but the lawn is gone, replace by a cobbled circle with the magnolia in the centre.

But the bluebells are still there, gradually increasing in number each year (mostly), and several of them remain distinctly white.

The white ones seem to open first, and today for the first time in ages, it's cloudy with drizzle, so this shot is a little restrained.
