Birthday girl

Happy Birthday to the little girl that joined us aged 5 and who through the trauma of those first 5 years struggled to adjust and trust a family. Five years ago we thought we could crack it. Sadly for her we were unable to. I just wish those who make the decisions to 'keep trying' to keep a birth family together could see the scars they are causing and how deep those cuts run and how they affect a small person's life forever.
