Honeysuckle

All the flowers are leaping ahead.  The Honeysuckle is really prolific this year and already flowering.  In the days when my parents-in-law were living here, they used to go out with a torch on a warm night and smell the sweet perfume exuding from the plant.

F telephoned to say both her daughters are now safely back and quarantined from abroad.  One of them was in the Philippines on a smaller island and had great trouble getting to Manila airport.  Their MP here was also involved with the Foreign Office re their return.  But once they got to the airport after some difficulty,  it was quite easy to get their flight. They had to wear masks in the  flight cabin and the taxi driver in England had hoisted a tarpaulin sheet between the front and back seat.
