Saturday

It was a very Saturday-ish Saturday. We did some school art work that was really fun. We did spent quite a long time recording the Sunday School story as a game and activities with story telling. She made herself a reading corner in her bedroom, between the end of her bed and her bookshelf. It's exactly a Katie distance apart and is usually full of teddies but they're all on her bed. I didn't spot her when I went in to the room, which was of course a bit unsettling!

Our daily walk included lots of dandelion fairies. We took a fairly short walk today because today was our first session of th new youth group that we are starting for the y5-8 girls from our church. We've been mailing them parcels and letters all week with their activities. Today we had a zoom for them, with fabulous hot chocolate creations. It was lovely to bring them together and see how delighted they were to have the group.

We had an evening out-in tonight! A friend had organised a zoom quiz for a few church families. It was fabulously done - including some superb video questions that have now raised the bar for all future quizzes we do! We both very much enjoyed time with but not with friends today.
