Cheerful colour

This quilt has been sitting waiting for its binding these last 4 weeks whilst I've been occupied with baby knitting. 
Yesterday I made the binding and attached it by machine then hand sewed it down today. I am cheered by the colours and love the gardening theme in the border. Also in the garden today, we've had the lovely Adrienne, trimming and weeding for 6 hours and coming back tomorrow too, to bring our two and a half acres back into line and begin to put it to bed for the winter. Glorious sunshine again today and more promised for tomorrow.
