Other BBCers have given information about what this is and isn't.

I can add that the sculptor decided that the mythical horse was a stallion (well it's not a mare and it's clearly not a gelding, so...). Actually I don't think any of the BBC shots are explicit in this regard - you'd have to go and see for yourself really.

The other thing (and which you can see in most of the shots) is that the sculptor also decided that Govett (the mythical one, obviously) was a bit of a maniac. Or maybe there's an element of self-portrait...?

Do we know who the sculptor was?
