Suffolk Punch

We were forecast rain toady so headed out early for some fresh air and exercise.  Todays wandering took us over the water meadows and across the fields past our local Suffolk Punch horses.  This 3 year old mare trotted over to see us, probably in the hope of a mint or two.  They are superb horses, very gentle and  bred to work the fields but now on the rare and endangered species lists.
