Fruit and veg

Today was our fruit and veg delivery day. 5 households are compiling an order and then Mr H and I sort it out and doorstep deliver, all within the street. Also had a delivery from Tesco’s today but that wasn’t as exciting. Again it did have a few extras for the neighbours.

Had a surprise phone all from Blipper HareBrain which was so lovely. We also took the clippers to Reggie for a diy haircut. He looks better than he did, but will do a bit more tomorrow 

Made a very good mincemeat and Apple crumble pie, a Delia recipe. Very nice it was too. Anyone else finding they are being more inventive with food?
Also forgot to say yesterday we heard the first cuckoo of the year.
