Blankets of Bluebells

I just can’t soak up enough of the beauty of the bluebells to last until next year. Looking at them is quite addictive . I just love the swathes of blue against the greenness of their leaves. 
We had so many happy picnics in the bluebell woods when I was little and then again with my own children that the sight of them fills me with great  pleasure. 
The bright sunny weather has made it more tricky to catch their colour but today’s more overcast skies made the colours stand out and easier to catch hold off. I’m pleased as I’ve been trying to take a picture that does them justice . 
Today’s golden moment has to be seeing the whole family on screen together . Thanks Jan and keith for setting it up . It was good to see the little ones in their natural habitat and share in a bit of good natured banter whilst we all ate our tea .
