I was off with the Husky again; did I say, my new mower with for wheel drive, doing some difficult rough cutting. Then finishing off spreadsheets for my Mum’s affairs. I’m an executor on her Will. Then putting on plug square, horn, hot and firing green peppers for the coming heat. Three more types of tomatoes. The greenhouse bursting again.

I’ve put together a website for Anna here www.annaannieann.co.uk. So many tributes and photos coming in its hard to keep up. Strange how it stirs up the past.

The planned easing of the lockdown here is very cautious. Not much easing fir us initially. But by May 18 libraries and museums should be opening. But a palpable sense of relief that fir now we’re through the worst of it.
