Getting ready for a fairly nice Saturday!

NO plans today (for once). So we ended up doing some last minute outlet mall shopping....met the cousins for dinner....home and to bed fairly early. And we had a wonderful time! Funny how much you appreciate those simple things when they usually aren't so simple.

Our special needs munchkin, little Caroline was with her sitter for the day. It is really nice having the freedom and flexibility to just decide to spend the day shopping and going out to eat. We just love her sitter so much. Definitely changed our lives and let us be somewhat "normal"!

Life with a handicapped child, while rewarding and worth every minute, is challenging. And not usually having the freedom to just run to the mall on a whim, and out to dinner is one of those things we usually can't do without a lot of planning and coordination. Luckily, finding this sitter about a year ago, and setting up a sitting "schedule" has let us have some of those freedoms and conveniences back!!!! Caroline loves the sitter, and we love the freedom!!!!
