Great Fun

I had a few enjoyable minutes playing 'hide and seek' with this starling who is nesting next door in the roof of their porch. It stuck out its head, saw me and then went back in again...and again, and again! 

The extras are of more emperor moths. Number 6 from 2 years ago emerged today and it was another female! Only one male so far. In this photo she is drying her wings and in the other extra, emperor moth shenagigans from the other day...
