While you sleep at night...

Desperate for a blip today... first day back at work after the week in the states and a lot to catching up to do.

A quick look from the back balcony at my favorite local incenarator (not!). A fairly ominous sight on the best of days, but even more so tonight with the low hanging clouds and billowy pillows of steam and smoke.

Always a pleasure to arrive at the airport here in Milan and dive through the thick layer of brown. Ahhhh, fresh air! incenarators a part, then lots of cars, then all the heating oil and gas, then often the stagnant air most any time of the year.

Thankfully an hour or more drive can get you away into the mountains.
