Sunday spreading ....

Dry again , so once everything was fed and feeding bagged up ready for tomorrow, loaded up the fertiliser spreader ready to go.
It was Littlemiss’s birthday today so managed to find time for some cake , coffee and candle blowing before we set off. Got another 50 acres done then had to go and check another cow that had calved at lunch time . Think/hope the calf has sucked as mummy was being a wee bit protective as we approached on the quad bike. Will see what it is like in the morning . Noticed next door farmer was spreading fertiliser too . It’s like at harvest time- once someone starts combining everyone else decides to have a go too !
Still a lot of cyclists on our roads. A lot of them think they need more road than a tractor. I aim to educate them otherwise ! Ho hum.
