Ray of light.

At this time of year the sun shines low into the garden outside my bathroom window and lights part of the bed which doesn't often get lit. It's fairly fleeting but completely changes the perspective of that bed. I like the ray of light shining on the Erysimum flower.

A relaxing day 'pottering' around in the garden after lighting the bonfire and reducing the mountain of clippings and waste wood which had been collecting for a while.

Towards the end of the day I dug a slight extension to the pictured bed and found a fossilised ammonite the size of the palm of my hand. When I cleaned it you could see the outline of a price label on the back so it obviously didn't originate from here!!
