Chamois

On the way back from our walk we saw four Chamonix. They took it in turns to go to a hole in the rocks in the ground. Looking for water? (See extra to see one of them with his head down the hole).

We were up and out quite early this morning to have a walk up to Solalex. It was quite surreal to be up there with nobody else around as it is usually quite busy in the summer. We did see some people breaking Swiss guidelines who were camping (where it is not usually allowed anyway) at Solalex and had made a fire (there’s a fire ban). It rained today for the first time in six weeks.
