Day 39- Churches in Twickenham

As it’s a Sunday I decide to visit the churches of Twickenham and St Margarets on my daily cycle ride. This meant I could keep to back streets and avoid the inconsiderate ‘lycra’ brigade of cyclists we get on Sunday mornings in the lockdown.
11 churches are still functioning, 5 C of E, 3 R.C, 2 Baptist and 1 United Reform. The Methodist church seems to have closed permanently .
The photo is of the Baptist Church overlooking Twickenham Green. The extra is All Hallows church which is interesting as the tower was designed by Sir Christopher Wren. A church he built n Lombard Street in London was demolished in 1937 so the tower and some of the contents were used for this church and the rest is brick built.

Tasks
