Not so Green (yet)
A slow morning with some distance church services from Sutton Coldfield and Waterloo. Once we actually got out of the kitchen it was another day of cleaning windows and raking the garden. It was much colder than recently so there was no danger of working up a sweat!
By the late afternoon I felt I really had to get out and walk, so I headed down to the beaver stream. The sun broke through and the sky cleared, adding to the general joy of spring. The snow has now nearly all melted and the ice has gone from the streams, but as you can see the greenery is conspicuously missing just now, but it is coming.
The beaver lodge in the center of the picture has fresh mud up the side so there are still beavers in residence, and probably the next generation of beavers snugly safe inside.
