Torta de Limon

Little Ro likes baking, and having made one yesterday, went for two today. All was going to plan until she made the fatal error.... of accidentally turning on the mixer whilst it was in the bowl of butter, eggs and sugar. About six seconds elapsed before she could turn it off and by then there were quite a few blobs all up the painted wall..... could have been worse.... she claims I distracted her....!  

A very peaceful day spent at home. I had a nice bath and washed my hair in the morning, then spent the afternoon trying to do some work. We received an email from college with an application form and student questions to fill in, which is a bit like a job application with twenty questions and a personal statement. I've started it, but I'm not sure how honest to be. I don't want anyone to have a giggle when they read it, but I also need to sell myself and yet be realistic about my strengths and weaknesses. 

I can only do what I can do. I've made a start, that's what counts.
