Cornish stones

Over the 25 years I’ve been going to Cornwall to visit grandparents and other family members I amassed a small collection of stones from poldhu, pollurian and kynance beaches - they used to sit on my bathroom shelf in earlsdon but now the pond has been built I felt they deserved a much better home and today lay them at the waters edge. They come alive in the water the characteristic gray stones with the white strips from pollurian and poldhu and the beautiful serpentine from the lizard coastline - my grandad would have been most happy
