Silver and Gold

Many years ago when I was at primary school we used to sing this hymn:-

The first verse was:-

‘Daisies are our Silver
Buttercups our Gold
This is all the treasure
We can have ..... or hold’

All the daises and buttercups on our local playing field made me think of this. They certainly make things more colourful and vibrant.
