Blisters and aches!

Our hands are covered in blisters and we both ache and were in bed at 9pm but we got loads done today which was very satisfying. John completely filled the skip with the stuff from the back garden. He started at 9:30am and finished at 4:30 with just a very short lunch break. He filled an 8 yard skip and we estimate it's about 8 tonne of stone and a little bit of soil. I'm posting this on Sunday morning and have left him upstairs for a lie in - I think he deserves it!

Meanwhile I finished scraping the stones off the front, putting that in the skip and did lots of weeding and tidying up out there. I'll hopefully do a bit more later today and want to make a bit of a feature out of the big tree stump.

Pickle sat out with us and the girls played outside. In the afternoon they asked to sit in my car and had a lovely time playing in there - they can make a playground out of anything.
