Are you British and proud?

This is the flag at our local looking across towards our house and neighbours. Taken on the walk home from our local Catholic Church where we had the annual Churches Together service. 'Father Michael' from Vietnam told us his story - he was one of the boat people, and was rescued along with 77 others from their boat by a British ship. And so when given the choice decided to come to Britain to try and repay the British for their kindness towards him - he said we should be proud to be British. Lovely guy - helped serve the tea and coffee afterwards - very Christlike!
