A place in time

Mrs Fox

Mrs Fox, paying her daily visit and enjoying her bowl of food.  The picture is not terribly clear, but I merely zoomed in with my phone to get this, and as you can see, the light was fading.  Hey ho.  I got the snap and that's the important thing.

It's been another glorious day, and here's the thing...I can honestly say that I am loving this lockdown.  It seems many people are stressed or unhappy, literally chomping at the bit to get out and socialise.  But I just don't get it.  I'm perfectly content in my little (home) world, gently pottering about, only venturing out for my daily "permitted exercise" while ensuring I remain safely "socially distanced".  However, I do realise of course, that I am privileged to have a home to be happy IN.  All the same, I'm safely at home and loving it - it won't be for ever, but it doesn't fill me with horror if it was.  Do you think I may change...?  Nope, I don't either.  Yes, I'm an introvert.

Thought for the day:

"Being alone for a while is dangerous, it's addicting.  Once you see how peaceful it is, you don't want to deal with people anymore."  (Tom Hardy)
