Ardington House from the Brook

The weather this week has been superb; with clear blue skies.  I have spent the time freshening up the front of our house.

Went for a walk on Friday afternoon to Ardington, and went round the back of Ardington House; a beautiful Georgian manor, dating back to 1720, with garden and park.  It is used for weddings, corporate events, parties and filming; but is very quiet at the moment, what with one thing and another!

They are using the time to refurbish the Brook, so it was tricky to get a picture without the fresh earthworks.   Really like the tranquility of it.
