Overcast

No dramatic mist this morning. It was plain gloomy.

I was feeling a bit miserable as I walked along the main road to the Bridleway. I heard a car come up behind me and slow down. I looked round nervously to see Pepe and his owner in their little car. She waved to say hello.  (She’s the very elderly lady who showed me the way through the hedge into the reserve three days ago.) 

Heartwarming. People are so lovely.

It was nice to exchange a few distant words with the friendly girl and her boxer. 

The horses bounded across to say hello too. 

With such friendship, we’ll get through this.
