A shot in the dark

Unless they are firing after dark why would they show lamps? If you are out in the fields after dark you've either lost your dog, lost yourself or lost your marbles. Anybody else in MOD grounds after dark is either training, and so will be doing the firing or is up to no good and deserves to be shot.
