Joints

Working on the Trowie’s lower legs today. I’ve gone for a simple link hoop to connect the armature at the joints. This is easy enough to do but I then had to decide whether to go with exposed joints or conceal them. Although I quite liked seeing the exposed links and think that could work well for another subject for this project I went for the latter.

Took me a couple of attempts, and a lot of swearing, to get it how I wanted it to look and keep the joint as free as possible but I think I’ve figured it out now. Hopefully the other leg will be quite quick to do now and then I can tackle the knees which I think will be even trickier.
