Millions of golden flowers are now adorning the fields and verges everywhere. The dandelions are beautiful opportunists and a source of nutrients with the roots, leaves and flowers able to be used in recipes. I made some dandelion syrup with the petals but although it is tasty I doubt if I will make more because it was a laborious job separating the petals from the green sepals. (extra)
