big weekend

We took this picture at around the time we should have been arriving in London for Eve’s birthday treat. It was quite the weekend we had planned with food, more food, sightseeing, Tutankhamun’s treasures and the theatre, all with Auntie Vic along for the ride. Eve is pragmatic knowing that lockdown gives her a second birthday weekend sometime down the line.

Somehow we managed to box off all of the educational activities really early this morning so we enjoyed a pretty chilled day of jigsaws, films, baking and Mario.

Gratefuls:

1. Calm sunny skies, stillness in the hills;
2. The bath;
3. Eve’s anticipation of her birthday in a few days (well remembered SakalaSafari)!
