Flying to Manchester
Mostly dull and overcast all day, with the odd sunny spell. It has been dry, and much cooler, more like a normal April day. Hope the fine weather returns soon. A great video been made by NHS Shetland, even had Right Said Fred singing the song and made the news :)
Up early, and had a full day working at my picnic table desk. I've finished off working with the William Keith collection. Walkies tonight to Trondra and back again. Various folk chatted from gardens as we walked. The usual quiet evening at home, with the fire roaring.
Today was meant to be the start of my holidays, heading to Manchester, and then on to Cyprus tomorrow afternoon. Due to the Coronavirus outbreak, it obviously got cancelled, along with my cousin's wedding. It's sad and upsetting, but we do have to be thankful that we've not personally been affected by the virus so far, and I'll always have another holiday again. We've not had anymore cases in Shetland this past few days. Instead of flying out, I made do with a milk carton for an aeroplane window, and a view over my garden. Taken from Houl Road, Scalloway.
