Greening

Bought a Husqvarna All Wheel Drive cutter today. Delivered this evening by our local chain saw and garden depot. Sick and tired of pushing the Hyundai machine around even though it is self propelled. It’s been good for two and a half years and taken some real stick.

Did a big shop at our local store. I gave them my list and they had it all boxed up for after lunch. Chatted to Stefano about getting Clio timing belt done. Taking it in on Wednesday. Bought chicken and delicious sugo al carne. And a host of tomato and pepper plants to pot on.

Just so lovely to see people, joke, and just smile from behind our masks - that we have come through this. So far.

Tomorrow is the 75 anniversary of Italy defeating the nazi-fascists (as they are always called here as it was a civil war as well as war against occupiers). At such sacrifice of Italians and allied soldiers.

As our mayor put it those who now are making that sacrifice for our liberty wear white uniforms (foremost amongst many others).
