Hot Day Baking

I turned off 'Homes Under the Hammer' and levered Mrs FP off the sofa.
She acquitted herself with admirable aplomb in the kitchen.

Orange and Poppy seed cup cakes and iced with butter cream
A very boozy fruit loaf
Raspberry buns (our own rasps from the freezer)
And bringing up the rear - a stonking soda bread loaf

The belties arrive in the field this weekend, always fun seeing the calves. 

Got a man in to look at putting up proper fencing around the garden, making it dog proof (not to keep them out but to keep Harry Houdini in). Going to get a metal gate for the end of the drive too - keep the zombies out.

Other than that the strimmer got a decent workout - the grass is no longer knee high.

Oh look! It is time to rescue a shiraz from the cellar.
