Concerto For 2 Horns

A two-hour hike in the Meiko nature preservation area. Admired the pair of horned grebes (or Slavonian grebes) on a pond. They are a vulnerable species, and perhaps as much as half of all horned grebes in Europe breed in Finland. Hence, we were very fortunate to see them. Unfortunately they did not come very close so the images are not too crisp in detail. Nevertheless, I also enclose an extra as these are quite extraordinary birds.
