Day 34 : another allotment day

The bed in the foreground was last year’s strawberry bed, with 5 inches of silt on top from the last flood. It’s taken 2 days to dig over, with a number of plants transplanted to a new bed.
In the background the wigwam for the beans is up (today) and out of sight (where it should be) the compost heap now has 3 of the 5 sides back up after being partially washed away by the same flood.
New fence posts ordered to assemble the rest should arrive Monday or Tuesday
