angelica

a dear friend gave me a cutting of this angelica many years ago. she used to put it into salads. and we adored the flavour.  it was transplanted from our greenhouse into a border and lasted for several years, but then vanished.  a week ago i found a sprig growing on the other side of the house, and then this morning i looked out of the window when i was doing the washing up and saw it had become a veritable bush!
