Social in The Time of Corona

I managed three chair visits today. I didn't intend to, but it turned out that way. Kathie stopped by after picking up her groceries at Fred Meyer; we brought two chairs to the sidewalk while she stayed in her car. Then I drove over to Marianna's with my little chair and a water bottle to sit in her back yard for a little of her enthusiastic outrage that always does me good. While out, I called Marjorie and she was open for a visit in her backyard, too. Maybe now I'll stay put for awhile.
Sitting in Marianna's yard made me long for my chickens. She has a few mature hens and three pullets. They replaced the top of their large trampoline, once the kids were gone, and replaced it with a solid floor where she keeps potted plants (Marianna is a floral designer who grows most of the blooms she sells). Under that floor is all for the hens to run around in. It's wired in, connected to the coop, and they have both sun and shade; a nice setup. Maybe I'll get set up for a couple new hens by the end of the summer.
