Norbury Hall Park: Racing (Wood) Pigeons

Even woodier plumage in large.
Extra: Woodland wood pigeon & Buzzing bee

My dSLR was returned by Fixation yesterday (power switch fixed), so I took it out on our walk this afternoon with the macro lens mounted... Was hoping for a butterfly blip, but the only one I got close to (a peacock) was being particularly uncooperative. I was pleased to catch the bronzen hues of this particularly fine wood pigeon.
