Just Like That!

Just like that-the traffic parted.
Not sure what these crossings are called. I am still trying to tame the "Panda". The Zebra was hard enough to manage especially just trying to stay only on the black stripes.
Was baffled originally when I realised that there was not going to be a little green man flashing at me from the other side of the road. Good job these ladies had their wits about them or I may have still been stuck there.
Apparently this little beastie is a "Puffin" crossing. At the latest Puffin crossings the red man/green man signals are above the push button unit on the pedestrians' side of the road. This layout encourages pedestrians waiting at the crossing to look at the approaching traffic at the same time as looking at the red man/green man signal-Yeah!
