Simple Pleasures
* Being able to purchase local tulips, as well as the more usual grocery items, thanks to the Community Food Co-op's online ordering system and curbside pick-up. I park outside the building's main entrance, text to notify the staff that I'm there, and a masked and gloved staff person brings the bags of groceries to my car and puts them in the trunk/boot, as seen in the link. (It's unusual to see a BMW there -- the majority of cars in Bellingham are Suburus and Priuses.)
*Homemade chocolate chip cookies -- still warm -- left on our front porch by Ed, our wonderful next door neighbor, who has been so helpful to us.
* Today's Zoom class from our local Y for older folks, "Brain/Body Workout," which I enjoyed. It's not the same as being in a big room at the Y with music going and 40-50 seniors following the instructor's lead for an hour, but it's a morale boost and gets our heart rates up!
