Bird flies over Farne Islands

Booking a winter bird watching trip around the farne islands in winter was always going to be cold and a little bit grim. We did not see hoards of puffins nor many basking seals. After a disappointing round of photography I decided to point my camera to the sky whilst sailing back and was surprised to have a captured this beautiful sight. With only a slight edit of exposure needed back home, the sky and the light give this image a wonderful calming and relaxing feel.
