The New "Office"

We were at Trader Jo’s shortly after 9 when they open (supposedly the first hour for seniors…but many were not. ) They’re good tho..limit the number, 6 ft places measured out at the checkstands, all employees with masks and gloves (wish I could say that for the customers) all carts freshly wiped off, sanitizers by the door, the checker only bags and unfortunately they only use paper bags,  We had to leave our bags outside.  Two of us pretty efficient.  Masks, Gloves, In and Out.  Set for 2 weeks now.

When we got home at 10:00 the espresso machine was at the front door!!!….having been ordered on my  computer just 18 hours before!   Now I know there’s much to despise about that mega company, (now however we are grateful that dil has a job with them)  but you gotta admit they came thru in a coffee crises.!

And then we met with our nice neighborhood Notary Public to sign all the many papers for the bit of land we are selling in Canada. (NEXT to our cabin land)   A bit tricky as we can’t go there in person and there are different rules and actions in Canada.   H set up an “office” in our garage with props from other parking spaces, cleaned off,  (AND the new Expresso machine box for a table!!)  as the outdoors was iffy for rain…(and no one has been inside except us since March 6!)     Hopefully that’s the end of this transaction for us!  (closing Monday)


Not used to this much activity,   I had to have a rest on the couch with a book!!     :-)  Walk later in the afternoon.   Maybe.   Maybe not.
